Hamilton Takes Sochi Win As Mercedes Wrap Up Constructors Title
Lewis Hamilton drove a faultless race to take his ninth victory of the season and take the honour of the first Formula 1 driver to win in Russia.
There was an early scare for the Mercedes team when Nico Rosberg overshot the opening corner as he looked to get the advantage over his team-mate, outbraking himself and locking up. While Rosberg would briefly lead he would be told by the team to hand the position back straight away.
Rosberg's victory hopes would end there as Rosberg was forced to pit for new tyres and despite a spirited drive it wouldn't be enough for the German as he finished 13 seconds adrift of Hamilton.
The 1-2 for Mercedes would mean the team secured the constructors title...
