FIA ‘constructive’ on F1 safety – Massa

Felipe Massa has praised the FIA for its response to Jules Bianchi's accident in the Japanese Grand Prix after a meeting with the F1 drivers in Russia. The FIA met with the teams on Saturday at Sochi, looking to discuss ways of improving safety in the wake of the accident which has left Bianchi fighting for his life in hospital. One of the proposed changes would see a speed limit imposed on drivers in double waved yellow flag sectors, and Massa said he is pleased with the way the FIA is working on trying to learn from last weekend. “I think it was a very positive meeting,” Massa said. “It was something where we were discussing how we can make things better in the future....
