Alonso urges F1 to consider closed-cockpits
Fernando Alonso has urged F1 to look into the possibility of introducing closed-cockpit cars in the wake of Jules Bianchi's accident during the Japanese Grand Prix. The topic of closed-cockpit cars has gained momentum in the days following Bianchi's incident, the Frenchman suffering serious head injuries after colliding with a recovery vehicle during the Suzuka race.
