Gutierrez apologises to Sauber for practice two crash
Esteban Gutierrez has apologised to Sauber after crashing out of today's second practice session at the Suzuka circuit.
The Mexican driver lost the rear of his car at the Spoon Curve in the first half-hour of FP2 and hit the wall.
He ended the session in 18th place, which is where he also finished in first practice for the Japanese Grand Prix.
'Unfortunately, I lost the car in the second practice session in turn 13,' he explained. 'With the speed you get there it was difficult to avoid an impact.
'I am really sorry for the team, and I am sure we will recover for qualifying. In the first practice session we were struggling with the set-up of the car.
