McLaren: Too late for third cars in 2015
– McLaren's Eric Boullier says there is not enough time for F1 teams to add a third car for the 2015 campaign, claiming that outfits would need at least half a year's notice for such a move to be implemented.F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone wants the sport's bigger teams to look at running third cars from next season, even if all the current squads – some of which are facing serious financial difficulties – remain on the grid.While concerns have been expressed about three-car teams damaging F1's overall appeal, Boullier reckons there are a host of additional factors to consider, which would require a significant amount of planning.The opening round of the 2015 season is set to take...
