Alonso surprisingly fastest after practice one at Singapore

Former World Champion Fernando Alonso has ended the opening practice session ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix fastest for Ferrari, ahead of the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. The session ran relatively incident-free, with the Red Bulls’ ending the session fourth and fifth respectively. The seventh running of the Singapore Grand Prix got underway as the sun began to set over the tricky 23-turn circuit, with the Marussia of Max Chilton quickly becoming the first driver to take to the track once the opening practice session of the weekend began. The Briton was soon joined by the likes of Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Gutierrez, as the first round of installation laps...
