Renault anticipating closer Singapore fight
Renault will be closer to the front in Singapore than it was at the recent Italian Grand Prix, according to head of track operations Remi Taffin.
Mercedes-powered cars locked out the top four positions at the high-speed Monza, with Daniel Ricciardo's fifth place being the best result for a Renault-powered vehicle.
But Taffin is confident that the nature of the Marina Bay street circuit will aid the plight of the French engine supplier this weekend.
"Singapore should suit us far more than the previous two tracks," he said.
