Pirelli confirms compounds for Japan and Russia

Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed the compounds which will be used at the Japanese and Russian Grands Prix in October. Due to the lateral energy at Suzuka the hardest two compounds in the range, the Mediums and Hards, will be used at the Japanese venue. The new Sochi Autodrom has yet to be used in reality, but Pirelli's simulations forecast that the Soft and Medium compounds will be best suited to the Russian city.
