FIA restricts team radio transmissions

– The FIA has restricted radio messages by banning all talk relating to car and driver performance.Whiting, who has acted on a regulation that states drivers "must drive the car alone and unaided", made teams aware of the clampdown in a Technical Directive issued ahead of next weekend's Singapore Grand Prix."In order to ensure that the requirements of Article 20.1 of the F1 Sporting Regulations is respected at all times we intend to rigorously enfoce this regulation with immediate effect," he wrote.
