McLaren-Honda may run at Abu Dhabi test

McLaren‘s new Honda era could begin this year when Formula 1 gathers for the test in Abu Dhabi, a few days after the final round of the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship at the same venue. Asked if the team will test the new Honda power unit before next season McLaren’s racing director Eric Boullier replied. “Yes,” This is not defined. The safe side is that we’ll obviously be in Jerez with a McLaren-Honda car. But it keeps open to maybe the possibility that if everything is matching in our schedules to run it earlier.” He added: “We won’t give a definite answer now because we actually don’t know yet exactly. It’s very likely to be before Jerez. We’ll see.”...
