Hamilton chose to ignore engineer advice

– Lewis Hamilton says his decision to ignore advice from his engineer played a key role in him winning the Italian Grand Prix.After a poor start saw him drop to fourth, the Briton brought himself back into contention with some fine overtaking and a clean pit-stop.At the start of the second stint, Hamilton was told by his race engineer to fall back from Mercedes team-mate and then race leader Nico Rosberg in order to save his tyres for the closing laps, but he chose to attack.Shortly after improving his pace, Rosberg locked up and took to the escape road at the first chicane, handing Hamilton a clear route to the win."The engineer said we should stay back but from experience I...
