Alonso 'happy' to be home

Fernando Alonso was happy with Ferrari's start to the Italian GP, which saw both drivers finish inside the top four on the timesheets. As expected Mercedes clinched the 1-2 at the high-speed fast-flowing Monza circuit while Ferrari were best of the rest. Kimi Raikkonen finished Friday's practices third on the timesheets with Alonso fourth, 0.340s off the pace. The Spaniard believes it was a good start to his team's home race. "For various reasons, Friday in Monza is always a bit different to the others, with a special significance for our team in the weekend of its home race," he said.
