Ferrari pair buoyed by practice form

+ Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen were left pleasantly surprised by Ferrari’s practice performance on Friday at Monza. The Scuderia had expected to struggle going into the Italian Grand Prix weekend, but after an encouraging morning session on Friday, the pair finished second practice third and fourth fastest, within three tenths of a second of the pace setter, Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg. “That was a very busy day, but a positive one,” said Raikkonen, third in the afternoon's session. “We made the most of every minute available to us in both sessions, managing to try everything we had on our programme. “In the morning, we concentrated on assessing different aero configurations,...
