Hamilton scoops GQ Sportsman of the Year
Lewis Hamilton with Nicole Scherzinger during the GQ Awards night
Ahead of the Italian Grand Prix weekend, at Monza, Lewis Hamilton found time to pick up the GQ Sportsman of the Year award at a glittering event in London this week at the Royal Opera House.
Accompanied by girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger Hamilton, who lies second in the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship, said in his acceptance speech, 'I want to receive this for my family and for my team. I've been very fortunate to be in F1 for eight years now and I'm extremely grateful.'
Among the star-studded guest list on the night were Pharrel Williams, Samuel L Jackson, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, the latter collecting the GQ Woman of...
