Ricciardo wants to experience Monza podium

Daniel Ricciardo has described the Monza podium as “brilliant” and wants to experience it for himself at this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. The podium at Monza is on a platform which extends over the pit lane and overhangs part of the start/finish straight, which is covered with fans following the end of the grand prix. Coming in to the race off the back of two consecutive victories, Ricciardo expects Monza to be a big challenge but wants to finish in the top three again to be able to experience the unique podium. “The biggest challenges at Monza nowadays are the braking zones,” Ricciardo said. “The first chicane is the ultimate example: you're coming down to that first chicane...
