Button: Shame Hamilton/Rosberg title fight had not been 'cleaner'
+ Jenson Button says it is a “shame” that the title fight between his former team-mate Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg had not been “cleaner” this season.
Button, who partnered the 2008 champion at McLaren between 2010 and 2012, came home sixth during last weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix, while Hamilton retired after an controversial early clash with current Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg at Les Combes.
“It is a shame it is not a cleaner fight,' Button told Press Association. “I've always said the person who wins the world championship this year is the person who does the best job on the circuit, but that does not quite seem the way it is at the moment.
