Lotterer to make F1 debut for Caterham at Spa

Former World Endurance Championship champion and multiple 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Andre Lotterer will make his Formula 1 debut this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. The German, who has also won the Super Formula series in Japan back in 2011, will take the place of Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi at Caterham. Lotterer has previous F1 experience when testing for the Jaguar Racing team back in 2002, but was overlooked for a race drive within the team in 2003 in favour of Mark Webber and Antonio Pizzonia. 'I am delighted to be given the opportunity to take part in a Formula One race weekend – I want to thank Caterham F1 Team for this chance,” said Lotterer....
