Caterham replace Kobayashi with Lotterer for Belgium
German driver Andre Lotterer will make his Formula One race debut at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend after being called up by Caterham to stand in for Kamui Kobayashi in a one-race deal.Caterham said in a statement that Kobayashi "remains part of the team".Lotterer, 32, is a three-time Le Mans winner and has previous F1 experience, having tested for Jaguar in 2001 and '02. Caterham believe they will benefit from his experience, particularly in mixed conditions that are often typical to Spa, and said in a statement that Lotterer's feedback "will contribute to improve the performance of the car".Lotterer said he was delighted by the unexpected chance to make his first...
