FP2: Hamilton beats Rosberg as Ricciardo closes in
Lewis Hamilton took the top spot from team-mate Nico Rosberg during second practice for the German Grand Prix on Friday. The Mercedes duo came under pressure from Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo though, with the Australian just a tenth slower than Hamilton's best, a 1:18.341. Kimi Raikkonen recovered from a difficult morning session to go fourth quickest as Kevin Magnussen was fifth, six tenths back. The top ten were covered by just over a second as the usual suspects filled the spaces, whilst Sauber looks to have made a step forward with Adrian Sutil 11th.
