Wolff: FP1 run fantastic

Susie Wolff said completing a successful FP1 session was “fantastic” after her appearance for Williams at the German Grand Prix. Having been scheduled to run both at Silverstone and Hockenheim, Wolff saw her FP1 debut at the British Grand Prix ended after just four laps due to an engine issue. However, her second appearance in Germany was more successful as she completed 22 laps – despite having to crawl back to the pits on the installation lap – and Wolff said she felt she delivered, although she did pick up 2000 in speeding fines in the process.
