Mercedes to remove FRIC for German GP

– Mercedes is the latest team to confirm it will not run with its front-and-rear-interconnected (FRIC) suspension system at the German Grand Prix this weekend.McLaren was the first to announce it would remove it in the wake of a letter sent to the teams by FIA Technical Delegate Charlie Whiting last week.Whiting voiced concern about its use and said unless it was unanimously agree to delay a ban until 2015 then any teams using it could be at risk of protests and possibly exclusion from this weekend's German Grand Prix onwards.With no agreement reached, teams now seem to be airing on the side of caution, with Mercedes joining McLaren, as well as Red Bull, Toro Rosso and also Williams...
