Van der Garde gets Hockenheim outing

Sauber F1 Team Sauber reserve driver Giedo van der Garde will return to the cockpit of the C33 for the first practice session at this weekend's German Grand Prix. Van der Garde last drove the car at the post-race test at Silverstone, although his day ended prematurely when he lost control and suffered a sizeable impact with the barriers. "For me it will be the first time running in an F1 car in Hockenheim," he said. "As the track is fairly close to Holland, I hope to see some Dutch flags around the circuit. I like this track. I have raced there quite a lot in Formula 3, and my last time in Hockenheim was in 2012 for GP2. I got pole position, so I am looking forward to going...
