Bianchi – I have to prove to Ferrari that I'm ready

Jules Bianchi says he cannot rest on his laurels if he is to prove himself worthy of a full-time Ferrari drive in the future. Bianchi, who joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2009, stood in at the Scuderia on Wednesday for Kimi Raikkonen, the Finn rested following his violent accident on the opening lap of Sunday’s British Grand Prix. The Marussia racer, who scored his first points in Formula One with ninth at this year’s Monaco Grand Prix, maintains that he must make the most of the opportunities presented to him, for instance his day testing with Ferrari, if he is to prove himself ready to make the step up to the Scuderia. “At the moment I know that it is not the plan for the next...
