Grid penalty for Gutierrez
Esteban Gutierrez has been handed a three-place grid penalty for the German Grand Prix after the stewards found him guilty of causing a collision with Pastor Maldonado in Sunday's British GP.The Sauber driver dived to the inside of the Venezuelan at Vale whilst they were fighting over 13th place and the contact which followed fired Maldonado into the air and forced the Mexican out of the race.Afterwards Gutierrez was adamant that the Lotus driver should have left him more room.'After the restart I was fighting with Pastor,' the Sauber driver said. When I tried to overtake him in turn 16 he braked and did not leave me enough space.'I was already beside him and could not avoid a collision...
