Kvyat – We missed an opportunity in qualifying

Daniil Kvyat admits that Toro Rosso’s late slump to nine and tenth in the final minute of qualifying was a missed opportunity for the Italian team. The two Toro Rosso cars provisionally sat fifth and sixth going into the dying moments of Saturday’s wet qualifying session at Silverstone, only to tumble down to ninth and tenth as other drivers improved on their final runs, as Kvyatt and his team-mate Jean-Eric Vergne watched on from the garage.
