Vettel leads Red Bull one-two in wet final practice

Sebastian Vettel offered some hope of dismantling Mercedes from its likely top perch at the British Grand Prix this weekend after he went quickest in a wet third and final practice session on Saturday. Tricky conditions dominated the hour long outing but the defending world champion managed to grab the top time from teammate Daniel Ricciardo, while neither of the Mercedes drivers set a lap time as showers intensified as the session progressed. Although Mercedes will remain favourites for qualifying later in the day, which is expected to be a wet one as well, the conditions could even out the playing field just a bit.
