Mercedes top FP1 time sheets in Silverstone

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   SILVERSTONE, 4th July 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Mercedes continued to prove they’re the fastest cars on the grid by topping the timesheets during the first practice session of the British Grand Prix weekend. Nico Rosberg was fastest overall after setting a lap of 1:35.424, followed by Lewis Hamilton who was 0.731s slower. Both Ferrari’s put in a decent showing with Fernando Alonso third fastest overall and Kimi Raikkonen fifth. Daniel Ricciardo was fourth fastest overall and Sebastian Vettel was sixth fastest just behind Raikkonen. Jenson Button was seventh fastest, with Daniil Kvyat...
