Victory never in doubt for Rosberg

Getty Images Enlarge Nico Rosberg says he knew Williams did not have the pace to challenge Mercedes for victory after extending his championship lead in Austria. Rosberg jumped the leading Williams pair of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas at the first round of pit stops at lap 15, after which he put in a very measured performance out in front to bring home a Mercedes one-two. Despite seeing his good start undone by Bottas at Turn 2 on the opening lap, Rosberg says he knew before the race that patience would be the key to victory.
