A mixed race at the Red Bull Ring for McLaren
McLaren suffered mixed fortunes during the Austrian Grand Prix, with Kevin Magnussen finishing in seventh place and Jenson Button taking the chequered flag in 11th.
Button said the team chose a 'different' strategy for the 71-lap race, but the Brit admitted that he failed to make it work.
The 2009 world champion lost several positions at the first corner after running wide. He completed a long first stint on the prime Pirelli tyre, before pitting for a fresh set. He completed his final stint on the super-soft compound but failed to make any progress.
His 11th place finish is the fourth time that he has been classified out of the points this season. 'The start was okay and then at turn one...
