Perez keeps five-place grid penalty
Sergio Perez will keep his five-place grid penalty for this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix, following a meeting with the stewards today.
Perez and Felipe Massa collided on the run to the first corner on the final lap of the Canadian Grand Prix, with both drivers hitting the wall heavily.
The Mexican driver was deemed to have been responsible for the contact by the stewards and was handed the grid drop, despite missing the meeting after the race as he was at the hospital for precautionary checks.
Force India requested a review of the incident, which took place at 4:00pm on Friday at the Red Bull Ring and gave Perez a chance to share his views.
