Fernandes rubbishes rumours of Caterham early F1 exit
Tony Fernandes has rubbished rumours that his Caterham team will not compete at the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix. Rumours circulated earlier this week that the Caterham team would pull out of Formula One ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, owing to budget restraints.
These rumours come on the back of reports from the Malaysian press that Fernandes was looking to sell the Caterham Group, which includes the F1 team as well as Caterham Cars, reports that the Malaysian businessman, who also owns no-thrills airline AirAsia and recently promoted Premier League football club Queens Park Rangers, dismissed as being completely unfounded.
