Renault report from Montreal qualifying
Sebastian Vettel fastest of the Renault powered brigade in Montreal qualifying
Three Renault powered cars will line up in the top ten for tomorrow’s Canadian Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel will start his Infiniti Red Bull Racing in third position behind the two Mercedes, while Daniel Ricciardo starts sixth. Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne qualified in an excellent eighth.
Q1: A sunny start to qualifying in Montreal. Pastor Maldonado was the first driver to be eliminated ; the Venezuelan pulling to a halt on an escape road as a precautionary measure. He will start P17.
