Massa – 'I'm glad Ferrari did not want'

Felipe Massa admits that he is “glad” that Ferrari dropped him at the end of last year, after a positive start to his Williams career. Massa spent eight years driving for Ferrari before the team opted to replace him for 2014 with the Brazilian’s ex-team-mate Kimi Raikkonen. But, as the 33-year-old – who raced alongside Michael Schumacher, Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso at the Scuderia – admits, he has no regrets about losing his seat, having since enjoyed a bright start to his Williams career. “Looking back now, I am even glad that Ferrari did not want me because it opened the way for coming to Williams,” Massa told Germany's Sport Bild. “You know, sometimes a change...
