Jordan recommends Sauber sells up and exits F1

Peter Sauber should sell his interest in the Swiss outfit which bears his name and retire from the sport, according to former team owner and now television pundit Eddie Jordan. Sauber owns a 66.6 per cent stake in the team, with the remainder controlled by team principal Monisha Kaltenborn, but with the outfit struggling financially and competitively - Marussia overtook them in the standings at the weekend - Jordan believes it's time for the 70-year-old to sell up. "Sauber are in the biggest crisis they've ever been in, but I've always rooted for him. Because he is the most honest guy in the paddock," the Irishman told Blick.
