Ricciardo splits the Mercedes in Monaco GP final practice

The Silver Arrows was in familiar territory heading the timesheets in the third practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix on Saturday but Red Bull offered some hope of toppling Mercedes in qualifying later in the day. Lewis Hamilton topped the charts in final practice but the Briton was just 0.05 seconds ahead of Daniel Ricciardo, who split the Mercedes pair with Nico Rosberg a tenth off the pace. Defending champion Sebastian Vettel continued to trail his teammate, four-tenths slower than the top time while Ferrari teammates Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen were seven-tenths off the pace.
