Sutil admits to FP1 mistake
Adrian Sutil put his crash in FP1 for the Monaco Grand Prix down to driver error on cold tyres. Late in the session, Sutil lost control of his car on the entry to Mirabeau and hit the barrier on the outside of the corner with the left rear of the Sauber. The incident brought an early end to Sutil's session and he admitted that it was simply a case of him losing control when the tyres were not giving him enough grip. “At the end of FP2, we were able to run a few laps on supersoft tyres, which worked out well,” Sutil said. “The car's balance is decent.
