Leimer to test Formula 1 car at Paul Ricard
eigning GP2 Series champion Fabio Leimer will test a Lotus Formula 1 car at Paul Ricard next week.The outing, overseen by Pirelli as part of the Swiss driver's prize for winning the title, will take place on May 27, in the company of team boss Federico Gastaldi, Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado and reserve Nicolas Prost."We're delighted that Fabio will get the chance to drive a Formula 1 car, underlining our commitment to do everything we can to help our GP2 drivers reach the top," said Pirelli Racing Manager Mario Isola."He'll have the opportunity to test for 300 kilometres, so it's going to be a memorable experience for everybody present.
