Caterham to miss day 2 of Barcelona test

May 14th 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Caterham will not take part in day two of the Barcelona test due to damage sustained to the car yesterday.  Half an hour before the end of the day's running, Kamui Kobayashi went off at Turn 3 and hit the barriers. The team assessed the car last night and decided not to run and turn their attention to the Monaco Grand Prix.  "Having assessed the damage to chassis CT05-#03 after Kamui’s accident yesterday in the final half hour of T05 day one we have decided not to run on day two." a statement from the team read.
