Todt: Russian Grand Prix will happen

FIA president Jean Todt says the inaugural Russian Grand Prix, scheduled for this October, will take place. The current crisis between Moscow and Ukraine has led to speculation that the event might be cancelled, like the Russian round of the World Superbike Championship. Motorcycle racing's governing body, FIM, said in a statement last month that the decision to call off the round, which was due to take place in September at the Moscow Raceway, was because of the political situation.
