Perez: A fantastic day for Force India

Force India driver Sergio Perez has enjoyed what he called a 'fantastic day' in Bahrain as he finished at the top of the timesheets. The Mexican driver's time of 1:35.290 saw him finish almost one second clear of nearest-rival Valtteri Bottas as Mercedes-powered teams enjoyed yet another fruitful day at the Bahrain International Circuit. Having posted his fastest time during a qualifying sim during the morning, Perez then turned his focus to a full race run in the afternoon, but none of the other drivers managed to better his time.
