Boullier is team boss and more

Eric Boullier may have been named McLaren's new Racing Director but in truth he says his role is that of team principal. Walking away from Lotus in the off-season, McLaren announced a week later that Boullier would take the role of McLaren Racing Director. McLaren's announcement not only signalled the end of Martin Whitmarsh's days as team boss but also the end of the 'Team Principal' title at the Woking team. Explaining his role, Boullier says it incorporates the team boss and more.
