New Sochi F1 track '91% complete'
The inaugural Russian Grand Prix will take place this October and the race promoter has confirmed that the venue, which is based around the Winter Olympic Park in Sochi, is 91% complete.
The 3.64-mile circuit will loop around the home of this year's Winter Olympics and is nearing completion, with race promoter Oleg Zabara saying development is currently on schedule.
'Construction of the autodrome in Sochi keeps moving forward,' he told Reuters. 'All works are being carried out according to the schedule.
'The racing track is 91% complete. Everything is according to plan, and there aren't any problems during Olympic period.'
