Dennis returns as chief exec
Ron Dennis has returned to the role of Group Chief Executive Officer of the McLaren Group and says he has been tasked with "improving our on-track and off-track performance".The 66-year-old also held the role between 1982 and 2012 before becoming Chairman of the Group in 2013. Dennis was also McLaren's long-standing Team Principal before Martin Whitmarsh took over in 2009.
Whitmarsh had also held the role of CEO prior to Thursday's announcement but McLaren's statement made no reference to him or his future as Team Principal.
Dennis will combine the CEO role with his position as Chairman and says he will carry out a thorough review of the company's businesses to help McLaren...
