Liuzzi wins Massa karting event in Brazil

– Vitantonio Liuzzi won Felipe Massa's annual karting event, the Challenge of the Stars, on Sunday. The ex-Formula 1 driver set the standard from the offset, topping all practice sessions, claiming pole position and winning the feature race ahead of Toyota LMP1 star Sébastien Buemi and Williams driver Massa. Liuzzi had been under threat from Audi's Lucas di Grassi and Brazilian Stock Car racer Julio Campos in the opening stages of the race, but the Italian gradually increased his lead as the latter two drivers battled.
