Maldonado: 2013 'my best year'
Pastor Maldonado believes his final season with the Williams F1 Team in 2013 was his best yet despite struggling at the back of the midfield.
The Venezuelan driver only managed to score one point in 19 races thanks to 10th place at the Hungarian Grand Prix. He was consistently matched by his rookie team-mate Valtteri Bottas and finished behind him in the drivers' standings.
Despite winning a race for Williams last year, he feels his third season in F1 was the best he has driven so far in his career. 'Thinking about the results and thinking about what I experienced in F1 for the past three years, I think this is my best year, even though the results are not there,' he told AUTOSPORT.
