Boullier: Lotus can surprise next year

– Eric Boullier believes that Lotus has the ability to "cause quite a few surprises" with its driver line-up of Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado next season. On Friday it was announced that Maldonado, who has contested the past three seasons for Williams, will join the Enstone-based outfit for the 2014 campaign, while Grosjean stays on for a third term. "Romain has really made the most of his tremendous talent over the latter part of the 2013 season and will be a fantastic asset to our 2014 challenge," said Boullier after his line-up was confirmed. He added: "It is clear that Pastor has pace and potential – demonstrated by his 2010 GP2 Series title...
