FIA contemplating pole position award and permanent numbers
The FIA is considering a number of changes to the sporting regulations for next season. These include a trophy for the driver with the most number of pole positions and permanent numbers.
According to AUTOSPORT, both ideas were discussed at the last month's Strategy Group meeting – with Christian Horner, Ross Brawn, Stefano Domenicali, Eric Boullier, Martin Whitmarsh and Claire Williams present – and have been tabled for debate at the next meeting of the group on December 9th.
