PIC FROM PAST: Brawn's greatest season?
His departure his been the subject of speculation for several weeks, but Ross Brawn is now officially leaving the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team.It is hard to believe if is now four years ago that - sandwiched between success with Benetton and Ferrari, and the rise of Mercedes as challenger to Red Bull - Brawn led his own small band of men to the highest pinnacle in motorsport, claiming both 2009 world titles with what remained of Honda's F1 effort.Powered by Mercedes engines, the team made a late start to the year, but was clearly on the pace from initial testing, and romped to six wins in the opening seven races to provide the platform for Jenson Button's eventual championship triumph at...
