Button: 'We really needed today's result'

Jenson Button says fourth and sixth in the Brazilian Grand Prix was a result that McLaren 'really needed' after a difficult 2013 season. The Brit started the race from 14th on the grid but made impressive progress through the field to finish as best of the rest. It was the best result of the Woking-based outfit's season and gave the team a great 'lift' heading into a busy winter. 'For Checo, myself and the whole Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team, today was an incredible day,' he admitted.
