Drivers to trial 2014 tyres in Brazil practice

Formula 1 drivers will have the opportunity to test the latest specification prototype tyres during free practice in Brazil this week. Each car will be allocated two sets of tyres to be used in the first two practice sessions on Friday at the Interlagos circuit. The tyres will feature the 2014 construction and profile, with the 2014 medium compound. Pirelli is expected to adopt a more conservative approach due to the vast regulation changes, which include the introduction of 1.6 litre v6 engines.
